To get started with Breaks, contact your Customer Success Manager. They will review the steps to add this to your program.
Breaks can be configured to automatically award Wellable Points upon completion. To configure this setting, you will need to add a Once Per Day Special Activity for the challenge. Twenty-five Wellable Points per break is recommended. Ongoing management will depend on your program type: Continuous Incentive Program or Traditional Challenges.
Continuous Incentive Program
When you copy the current month’s challenge by following the instructions provided in the Continuous Incentive Program Implementation Guide, keep “Took A Break” listed as a Once Per Day Special Activity. Only update the Special Activities that are part of the Holistic theme for that month. This will allow participants to earn Wellable Points for completing a break.
Breaks content on the Bulletin Board will copy over from the previous month’s Bulletin Board and does not require monthly editing.
Traditional Challenges
Including Breaks in Traditional Challenges requires additional steps to ensure that employees can access them throughout the year. Each time you create a challenge from the challenge library, you will need to edit the challenge to include “Took A Break” as a Once Per Day Special Activity to the challenge, as well as editing the Bulletin Board. You will be able to copy this information from your In Between Challenge.
