How To Create A Hybrid Challenge
Why settle for a team or individual challenge when you can have both? A hybrid challenge allows Wellable Users to participate on teams or as individuals in the same challenge together. This configuration typically includes a focus on teams with prizes and incentives for team members as well as those competing as individuals. The typical reward structure of a hybrid challenge is designed to increase engagement by providing a choice to Users, allowing them to participate in a way they prefer (either on a team or as an individual) while also motivating individuals who may be on underperforming teams to continue participating.
The easiest way to setup a hybrid challenge is to edit a team-based program. Whether you have already created a team challenge via the Challenge Library or plan to do so moving forward, follow the instructions below for reconfiguring a team challenge. If you have already created an individual challenge via the Challenge Library, follow the instructions below for reconfiguring an individual challenge.
