Distribute Rewards Monthly
Wellable’s best practice is to distribute rewards monthly. This frequency helps to reinforce healthy behaviors because the incentive is awarded shortly after the month ends. Rewards distributed quarterly or annually typically do not result in as much consistent engagement as the incentive is further removed from the daily habits.
Clear, Efficient Communication
The Continuous Incentive Program structure stays the same each month, so participants know how they can earn Wellable Points, what the reward thresholds are, and how they can expect to receive rewards. All of this information should be clearly communicated on your program Bulletin Board and through monthly emails. The monthly email schedule should include Final Results, mid-month status updates, and end of the month reminders for all users to sync their activity before the reward period ends.
