To add multiple users in bulk, you will need to populate an Add Users Template prior to following the steps below. When filling out the Add Users Template, please note that the first three columns are the only pieces of required information and the spreadsheet must not be altered (columns/rows added or deleted). Year Of Birth must be a four-digit year, and Gender must be either “F” for female, “M” for male, or “NB” for non-binary. Although optional, these data fields are used in analytics and reporting and are encouraged to be completed for each user being added.
As a best practice, it is recommended to include a unique identifier (e.g., employee ID) in the Custom field. This will help ensure data consistency and facilitate seamless auditing.
Before filling out the Add Users Template, make sure you become familiar with the user profile information available to be added through the Add Users Template, including how the Team and Organization data field works.
- Go to Users > Bulk Edit > Add Users in the Admin Account.
- Select the Challenge you want to add users to.
- Select Choose File under Upload File.
- Choose the completed Add Users Template, which includes the information of the users you want added to the selected Challenge.
- Select Upload.
Once the file is uploaded, which may take a few minutes depending on the number of users in the file, you will be notified of the number of User Accounts created and which entries, if any, were not created. When users are not added, it is most often due to an existing user with the same Email Address (Username) in Wellable.
