Each User Account can store certain information for a participant, which is listed below. The required information to create a User Account are First Name, Last Name, Email/Username, Challenge, and Unit Of Measurement. Other pieces of information, such as Gender and Year Of Birth are encouraged, as they are used to improve analytics under Dashboard and Reports.
First Name / Last Name
First Name and Last Name store a User’s name. The First Name and initial of the Last Name of a User will be available for other Users to see on the individual leaderboard in their User Accounts.
Email Address stores the email address of a User. This email address will be used to send the User communications via email. Every User must have an email address to have an account created for them.
Username is what a User will use to sign in to their User Account. The Username will auto-fill based on the Email Address for the User. That is, a Username must be the same as Email Address.
Challenge is the challenge the User will be associated with. A User can only be associated with a single challenge at a time.
Team is the team a User is a part of for a team challenge. For a User to be part of a team, all team members need to have the exact same team name. If on a team, a User will be able to see a team leaderboard in their User Account. Team names must be between two and 50 characters in length.
Organization is used to create sub-groups within a company. For example, Organization can be used to assign a User to an office location or department. For a User to be part of an organization, all organization members need to have the exact same organization name. If part of an organization, a User will be able to see leaderboards with just the individuals and teams from their organization in their User Account. Organization names must be between two and 150 characters in length.
Custom Field can be used to store any information about a User. Often, Custom Field is used to store employee number or other participant-specific pieces of information. Data in the Custom Field cannot be more than 100 characters in length. The information store in the Custom Field is not visible to Users.
Unit Of Measurement
Unit Of Measurement determines if the information in the User Account displays data in miles or kilometers. A User will be able to determine this setting for themselves during the onboarding process.
Year Of Birth (YOB)
YOB is the year in which the User was born. This information is used in analytics and reporting, and a User will be able to enter their YOB for themselves during the onboarding process.
Gender is the gender of the User and can be set as Female, Male, or Non-Binary. This information is used in analytics and reporting, and a User will be able to enter their Gender for themselves during the onboarding process.
Height is the height of the User.
Weight is the weight of the User. Wellable does not track changes in weight entered over time.
Email Subscription determines if a User will receive Challenge Update Emails from Wellable. If a User no longer wants to receive emails from Wellable, select No in the Email Subscription field.
Coupon Code stores the numeric code that is unique for each User that will provide them with a subsidy to purchase a wearable device from Wellable. To generate a coupon code for Users in a challenge, please contact your Account Manager.
