A Thrive Account from ThrivePass allows organizations to award their participants with a stipend they can spend on discounted wellness activities and services in the ThrivePass Marketplace or on other eligible purchases via a digital reimbursement tool (receipt submission). This allows organizations to create custom spend categories to ensure wellness program rewards are used in certain ways, such as reinvestment back into health and well-being. The Thrive Account spending categories range from traditional wellness categories (fitness, mindfulness, healthy eating, etc.) to lifestyle categories (entertainment, personal development, travel, etc.).
Recipients are notified that their reward dollars are available in their Thrive Accounts once a deposit is made. Thrive Accounts can be directly accessed from a Wellable User Account.
To distribute monetary rewards into Thrive Accounts for your program participants, you must first set up a company Thrive Account with Thrive Pass. There is a fee associated with creating Thrive Accounts. For more information or to get started, please reach out to your Wellable Customer Success Manager.
International ThrivePass Usage:
If using ThrivePass internationally, ThrivePass Wallets will work the same, however subsidies will be distributed in local currency. There is also no access to the ThrivePass Marketplace, and reimbursements within the Platform can only be received via PayPal or Payroll. Because PayPal is a form of online payment, employees can technically use PayPal to purchase anything from an external website that works with their country (i.e. Amazon), but there are fees associated with the PayPal service that employees would be responsible for.
