Participants can track their nutrition by logging meals and snacks through one of Wellable’s partner apps. These apps make detailed nutrition tracking easy through a database of millions of foods, the ability to scan barcodes and search menus of popular restaurants, and one-click logging of frequently consumed meals. Wellable assigns Wellable Points for meals and snacks logged, regardless of what the log entry may be.
Wellable requires assigning a daily maximum Wellable Points for nutrition that is equivalent to three meals and one snack because of the data sharing limitations with certain apps. That is, certain apps organize the data Wellable syncs into four categories (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks) while other nutrition apps break out meals and snacks in more detail. If the daily maximum number of Wellable Points for nutrition exceeds three meals and one snack, certain Users will not be able to earn as many Wellable Points as other Users because of the nutrition app they have chosen to use.
Review the full list of Wellable partner apps to find out which partner apps track nutrition. To include nutrition tracking as part of a challenge, all apps that track nutrition should be turned on when creating or editing the appropriate challenge.
