It is important to optimize engagement in email communications being sent from Wellable to participants as this strongly correlates with sustained program participation. To optimize email delivery and performance (open and click rates), follow the Wellable Allowlist Instructions, which will direct you to send your IT department an email instructing them to “allowlist” email communications sent from Wellable. This ensures emails go straight to the inbox of participants, not their junk/spam folder. The instructions will also help you set up a From Email Name and From Email Address.
From Email Name And From Email Address
The From Email Name and From Email Address are what an email recipient will see when receiving email communications sent from Wellable. For example, in the image below, Company A could select Company A Wellness as the From Email Name and wellness@CompanyA.com as the From Email Address. This will personalize emails sent from Wellable, making them appear to come from a trusted and familiar source.
The default From Email Name and From Email Address for all emails sent from Wellable to participants will be CompanyName Wellness and CompanyName@wellable.co, respectively, where “CompanyName” will be your company or organization’s name. For example, the default From Email Name and From Email Address for Dunder Mifflin Paper Company, Inc. would be Dunder Mifflin Wellness and firstname.lastname@example.org, respectively. Please note the default option is a no reply email address.
If you would like to customize the From Email Name and/or From Email Address, please inform your Customer Success Manager of this update. Most commonly, groups that take advantage of this feature have a wellness or human resources email address (e.g., email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org, etc.) that they would like to set up as the From Email Name and From Email Address. If you decide to take advantage of this feature, especially a change to the From Email Address, your IT team may need to take additional steps to ensure proper delivery.
The goal of this feature is to improve communication engagement and participation in the Wellable program. It is strongly encouraged to choose a From Email Name and From Email Address that will be best received by your employees. Surveys suggest that many employees do not participate in their employee wellness program because they were unaware that it existed. By sending an email from a trusted source, the number of employees that open and engage with the communications will increase, resulting in greater, more sustainable participation in the program.
You will provide your Customer Success Manager with your chosen From Email Name and From Email Address during the implementation process.
